Originally from Montreal, Neusha Taherian is a composer, music editor, and vocalist based in Los Angeles. She works across film, television, and immersive media, contributing original music, additional cues, vocal textures, and polished edits. Her recent credits include YANUNI (2025, Tribeca Festival), Hulu’s Out There: Crimes of the Paranormal, Netflix’s This Is the Zodiac Speaking, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, and IMAX’s Cities of the Future. She was also a music editor on Emergence Magazine’s Shifting Landscapes, scored by H. Scott Salinas and Logan Stahley, and composed original music for the short film BUSH by Emma Mazurek.

Neusha began her career in Montreal’s independent arts scene, composing for short films, theater, and contemporary dance. Her early credits include Inner Path (Fantasia Festival 2021), the choral ensemble Chœur Adleisia (Composer-in-Residence, 2020),  Live Performances at Galleries such as La Poubelle Magnifique, To Kill A Sacred Duck (Featured at the Montreal Theatre Short Works Festival), and interdisciplinary performances during her time at Concordia University, where she earned a BFA in Music Composition. She later completed her MFA in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago.

Now based in Los Angeles, she collaborates closely with award-winning composer H. Scott Salinas as a music editor and additional composer. She was a bodhrán player in the Irish folk band Devil’s Own and is a recurring composer and performer with The Night Temple’s experimental Quintet Series.
